Two reviews in Swedish fanzine "Skrutt" - July 1999

Thanks to Taru Spiegel for the translation into English!

BellRays "Nights in Venice"/Adam West "SWLABR" (Single/Fandango)
It can also sound like this when two bands split . One side 33 rpm and the other 45. I made a mistake on both. Adam West sounds like a Motorrhead on slow speed or a high octane Creeps. Rather cool in any case. Bellrays rock and it is really comes down sometimes. I like their style more than Adam's on this single and it should be interesting to check out Bellrays a little bit more.

Adam West "13 de luxe" (CD/Fandango)
These are tough guys who play tough music. A little like Union Carbide playing garagepunk. They have about the same weight and otherwise a sound that is like Hellacopters. When I heard the name of the band, I thought it would deal with 60s pop, but oh how I was deceived. I could write long harangues about how much I respect this band, because I really do. But rather than sit and read this shitmagazine, you should go out and check out the record instead.
