Review of Adam West records in Toxic Flyer - Summer 2001

Adam West (Music Reviews)
DC bad-to-the-bone punk rock-n-roll. Well, in this review the DC-based band delivers 3 slabs of vinyl that kick ass. But the 666-powered rock-n-roll of this DC band's kick-out-the-jams styles has the same feeling of Buckcherry, Cult, Hellacopters, Motorhead, Candy Snatchers, Humpers with their own stylin' added in.
On the record "Piece of Ass", a 7" on the Telegraph Company record label, you get 2 out-of-control songs ("Piece of Ass", "Iron Chain") that just burn. The other record comes from a Tour-Only 7" from Safety Pin Records that features the songs "Have Your Way With Me" b/w "Yr Days Are Numbered, Motherfucker" that are pure hellbent rock-n-roll.
Also check out the band's 10" called "Hi-Balls Are Rolling!" on Fandango Records that features 6 killer songs . . . 3 originals like "Hi-Ball" plus 2 more as well as 3 killer covers like AC/DC "Sin City" and Thin Lizzy "Cold Sweat" that are pure rock-n-roll, kick-out-the-jams rockers.
